How do I create a new VCard?

Click on New VCard then fill in the Amount, Exact Dollar Amount to specify allowed number of transactions, Restrict Usage confirm approved locations for use (i.e. Airline, Business, Car Rental, etc). Click Advanced Options, required fields card holder first name and last name and expiration date of card. Optional fields: Invoice #, PO #, Notes.

How do I create a Quick VCard?

Type in your 4 digit passcode then click on QuickVCard. This will create a QuickVCard that auto populates your pre-determined settings.

What is the difference between a QuickVCard and New VCard?

Quick VCard- This will create a virtual card (vCard) with that auto populates your predefined settings: name, dollar amount, number of transactions, usage restrictions and expiration period. This is used for everyday purchases, lower dollar amounts. Quick and convenient!

New Vcard- This will create a virtual card with the ability to customize specific settings; one-off settings. Before the card is created you may specify all purchase parameter fields.

How do I send a VCard?

After you create a VCard, in the lower right hand corner click on the Send button. You can then choose to Email VCard Image, Email vCard Text or Send vCard Text via SMS.

How do I restrict where the vCard can be used?

Click on Restrict Usage and use the toggle button to determine what merchant category code (MCC) purchases will be authorized. "Yes" means authorized. "No" means not authorized.

How do I block a vCard?

Click on Existing vCards then find the specific card you would like to block. Click the toggle button to “Yes” to block the vCard of choice.

Can I make international payments?

Yes. Simply activate your account for international payments. The merchant must accept MasterCard.

What if I don´t use the full amount I made for my vCard?

If you do not use the full amount of the VCard then the unused funds simply remain in your account. You can view the card balance by selecting your card from the existing list and it will display the card amount and the card remaining balance.

What If I create a card but do not use it?

If you create a card but do not use it, then the unused funds simply remain in your account. A best practice is to go into existing vCard and block the card.

What if I accidentally send the card to the wrong person like a wrong email?

You can go to your existing vCard list, select that specific card and block the card in real-time.

How do I see where my employees use the virtual card I created in a report?

All mobile app transactions are tied to your iConnectData (ICD) Customer ID and can be viewed on the Customer Portal.

If my phone is lost or stolen, could sensitive date be viewed from globalVCard?

If your phone is lost or stolen only users that have access to your specific 4 digit pin can access your globalVCard account settings, menu settings, or application function. There is also an added security feature that prompts globalVCard to automatically time out after 2 minutes of no activity. In a retail setting, globalVCard can be automatically locked by simply tapping the screen. This feature will not allow retail employees to enter the globalVCard account settings, menu settings, or functionality without entering your 4 digit pin.

How does globalVCard protect my credit card credentials?

Your payment credentials are not stored on your mobile device´s operating system. Using our real time request/response system, all credit card data is only accessible after authenticated through our secure servers.

Could a malicious application access my credit card data on globalVCard?

No. The application is designed not to store sensitive credit data on the mobile device. Using our real time request/response system, all credit card data is only accessible after authenticated through our secure servers.

Can I get a plastic card with my globalVCard?

Absolutely! You can request a plastic purchasing card with your globalVCard account (email: request plastic card)

How can I block or cancel a card?

Click on Existing vCards then find the specific card you would like to block. Click the toggle button to "Yes" to block the vCard of choice.

What happens if I create a card incorrectly? Can I go back and recreate it?

When you create a vCard, the funds are not taken from your credit limit / prepaid amount until you use the card. You are simply allocating an amount for your card to use upon its request. This unique feature allows you to simply not use a card that you incorrectly created. It is also best practice to "Block" a card that you no longer wish to use.

What should I do if I get an error during setup?

Reboot your device then download the application again and install.

I received a Decline when using the vCard, why?

1. Was the correct payment information entered into the web browser?
2. Did you remember PO Box?
3. Did you remember suite number?
4. Was the amount the card created less than the purchase amount?
5. Did you remember Taxes & Shipping?
6. Was the box checked to create card for the exact amount?
7. Was the Merchant Category Code Group restriction enabled?

Troubleshooting your Wi-Fi connection

1. Does the device have internet connectivity. Wi-Fi or 3G is needed.
2. If you are connected via Wi-Fi, please turn it off and try 3G.
3. Close the application or Reboot your mobile device.
